Adding a WebPage

A WebPage is displayed to visitors when they browse your web site.

A default WebPage, named "Default" is automatically added to each WebMenuItem/folder. The Default WebPage is displayed to your visitors by default when they select a WebMenuItem. The "Default" WebPage in your site's root directory is your site's home page.

To add a new WebPage: select "WebPage" from the Add Drop Down List on the toolbar. Then click the "Add" button.

Add Drop Down List

Enter the WebPage's ID and Title into the page that is displayed.

Add WebPage Form

A WebPage's Id should be lower case and not have any spaces or punctuation because it will be displayed in the address bar of the browser when the webpage is selected. It is good practice to use a hyphen "-" instead of a space.

The WebPage's Title is a friendly name that can contain multiple words, capital letters, and punctuation, and will be used in search results and in the title bar of the browser.

Click "Add" to add the page to your web site. Once added, you will see the new document in the contents list.
